Advanced Driving Course
A driving course that is advanced can be a great option for those who have been driving for some time and would like to enhance their skills and be safer on the roads. These courses can help drivers improve their maneuvering abilities in challenging conditions and reduce the risk of collisions. These courses can lower insurance rates and qualify drivers for discounts. In addition to offering measurable financial benefits, these courses can make drivers feel more secure behind the wheel.
Skilful driving is defined as the ability to operate a motor vehicle smoothly, safely and systematically regardless of road or traffic conditions are encountered. It requires a strong handling ability, as well as a high degree of observation and planning. IAM and RoSPA's advanced driver classes are built around these skills and can help you adapt to changing road conditions.
Defensive driving is a crucial skill to acquire to ensure safety on the road. Many accidents are caused by human mistakes and defensive driving strategies can help you avoid these mistakes and keep yourself and others safe on the road. This includes keeping safe distances for following and staying alert to your surroundings at all times.
Hazard perception is another skill that many people do not master. This includes recognizing the signs of erratic driving as well as other road obstacles that seem to be unavoidable. The ability to recognize and react to dangers can dramatically reduce the risk of accidents. Many advanced driving courses emphasize hazard perception as well as other safety-related skills, such as skid management and efficient braking.
While some may think that an experienced driver is always more secure, it's important to be aware that even the most skilled drivers may forget or lose interest in certain safety habits over time. Over time, skills that were developed with diligence can become diminished. This can lead to poor driving decisions. These errors are especially risky between midnight and 6 a.m. and as late as in late afternoon.
A high-quality, guaranteed IAM or RoSPA advanced driving class will give you the opportunity to improve your current skills and improve your knowledge of the road. These abilities can be put to the test during a drive that is observed by a trained IAM/RoSPA examiner.

Pass Plus Course
Pass Plus is a course for new drivers that teaches them additional skills in driving and also training they may not have had the chance to master during their driving lessons. Driving Instructor Training is now becoming increasingly popular for newly certified drivers to take, since it can help them build confidence on the road and may lead to discounts on their car insurance later in life.
The course is broken down into six modules each of which focuses on a specific aspect of driving in different conditions and in different environments. The course doesn't include a final test, but you will be rated regularly throughout the course in order to ensure that you have met the standards required. You will be awarded a grade of "achieved" or "exceeded".
Motorway driving is an essential component of the course. It will enable you to practice the process of entering and exiting dual carriageways, as well as knowing how much distance to keep between cars when overtaking. It is important that you be able to handle these situations in a safe environment before you have to face them in real life because accidents involving new drivers are more likely to occur in these areas.
Rural driving also features in the course and can be a particular challenge for some new drivers. You will learn to drive safely under these conditions, and also how to react quickly when you come across pedestrians or animals. You'll likely encounter these situations regularly, so it is important to know how to handle these conditions.
During the course you will also learn how to drive in urban centres and how to deal efficiently with pedestrians and traffic. This course will prepare you for driving situations that you may encounter on a regular basis and will make you more confident.
Pass Plus can be passed any time after passing the practical driving test However, it is highly recommended that you do it within the first year after you pass. The majority of accidents involving drivers who are new occur within the first year following their license. The additional training you will receive from Pass Plus can help you build the confidence you require to be able to drive in any situation and decrease the risk of accidents over time.
